We are seeking a strategic and results-driven
HR Business Partner
to join our client's team in Washington, DC. The
HR Business Partner
will work closely with leadership and staff within our client’s healthcare system to align HR strategies with business goals, enhance organizational effectiveness and support the delivery of high-quality care. This role will be pivotal in driving HR initiatives that support their mission and values.

Collaborate with senior leadership and management to understand business needs and develop HR strategies that support organizational goals and drive business outcomes. Oversee talent acquisition, development and retention strategies. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, participate in recruitment efforts and implement effective onboarding and training programs. Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, performance management and disciplinary actions. Promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws. Lead and support initiatives related to organizational change, employee engagement and performance improvement. Facilitate leadership development programs and succession planning. Implement and manage HR programs, policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. Ensure consistency and fairness in HR practices across the organization. Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide insights and recommendations to improve organizational performance. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. Address any compliance issues and mitigate HR-related risks. Champion DEI initiatives and work to create an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected. Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity and equity in the workplace.
HR Business Partner Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred. 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting. Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law and best practices in talent management. Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and influence decision-making. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
