Req#: 5362 What you will do The Upstream Marketing role -

Product Manager, Mammography Systems and Accessories

- will be instrumental in driving global decisions on pre-stage gate concept assessments, organic and inorganic opportunities, and will serve as the marketing lead for new product development projects from concept to launch through end-of-life. This role interfaces closely with internal and external stakeholders and is a great opportunity to help shape a growing business in the Breast & Skeletal space Key responsibilities Upstream product management for the following: 3Dimensions Mammography System, Selenia Dimensions Mammography System, SmartCurve Breast Stabilization System, MammoPad Breast Cushion and other accessories Collaborate with cross-functional team to meet milestones and ensure timely product launches with a high level of quality Marketing core team member on cross-functional product development teams, core team lead on programs chartered under the marketing manager’s franchise Product roadmap creation, market segmentation and structure of offering Conduct market research to quantify the size of the addressable market and understand reimbursement in each geographical area Collect Voice of Customer research associated with identifying product needs and features Perform in-field customer visits to better assess market opportunity and prioritization Collaborate with R&D and Commercial team to establish unmet clinical needs, translate to customer requirements with R&D and assist in design specifications, validation planning and activities Understand competitive landscape and integrate business needs into project and desired claims into marketing plan Support in developing comprehensive marketing plans including value proposition, messaging, key claims, customer segmentation and targeting, pricing strategy, and evidence-based strategy Hold monthly meetings with PMO for cross-functional working sessions on portfolio strategy and roadmap Develop product launch strategy and partner with downstream marketing on required marketing materials for new product launch Oversee and contribute to launch execution in partnership with downstream regional marketing Promote a culture of partnership with cross-functional teams while maintaining a shared level of urgency Strategy, Innovation, and Market Management Develop comprehensive global business cases aligned to new product development phase gate process Develop new market and concept ideas that include strategic fit, market sizing & financial modeling, high-level unmet clinical needs definition, competitive landscape, sales readiness and commercial implications, and go, no-go recommendation Collaboration with Ideation Project team members on SOA profile development, project/program charter and new product development phase gate review material development Gain alignment with internal and external customers for key decisions Advise and implement lifecycle management including end-of-life planning and end-of-life roll-out strategy Build relationships with downstream marketing, KOLs, Scientific and Medical Advisory Board members and relevant medical societies Travel Requirement Position requires ~25% travel (international included) if local to New England. Position requires ~40% travel (international included) if not local to New England. Qualifications BA/BS required, Master's/MBA preferred Upstream marketing, new product development experience required Demonstrated experience in medical device market management and marketing concepts and practices (minimum 5 years’ experience) Strong analytical and financial modeling skills preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Demonstrated success managing complex projects Ability to collaborate and work with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment Demonstrated success working as an integral cross-functional team member, ability to develop clinical expertise in medical devices and deep understanding of customer needs within medical device markets. Additional Details: The annualized base salary range for this role is $109,000 to $170,000 and is bonus eligible.
