AMD together we advance The Role AMD is looking for a Server Product Architect to join our Datacenter System Architecture and Engineering team to develop world-class products around EPYC processors. In this role, you will engage with key customers, internal architects, field application teams, and stakeholders to define EPYC product architecture, analyze usage cases, and map technologies to ensure a holistic, constrained system spanning silicon, platform hardware/software, and usages to deliver optimal customer experiences. You will provide a cohesive technical vision considering prioritized use cases and scalability. Key Responsibilities Define server product architecture Architect solutions using AMD processors, accelerators, network components for high-performance computing, servers, and data centers, leading system hardware innovation Collaborate with customers, processor architects, IP and SoC architects, network and I/O device architects, software developers, and business units to define product and system requirements for performance, power, and cost optimization Research and develop next-generation server designs to improve performance Influence future products by contributing to architecture and technology execution across server products Deep knowledge of product architecture, including memory, I/O, signal integrity, power integrity, packaging, power delivery, thermal, mechanical, power management, firmware, and hardware management Proven track record working with leading technology companies to engineer outstanding products based on new SoCs, CPUs, and chipsets Establish credibility with engineering and leadership teams at top tech companies, communicate results clearly, and drive solution alignment Preferred Experience Experience with server product architecture, development, and design, including memory, I/O, power delivery, power management, firmware, BMC, and validation through to production Understanding of server industry standards such as DDR, PCIe, SATA, and other high-speed IO protocols Proven problem-solving skills and innovation in product development Ability to work seamlessly across disciplines and geographies to deliver results Academic Experience Engineering degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with extensive experience.
