THE PRACTICE Oliver Wyman’s Private Equity team in North America is looking to hire consultants to support its rapid growth. The team works with private equity investors throughout the deal transaction lifecycle: from opportunity identification through due diligence and post-transaction value realization. Oliver Wyman adopts a multi-specialist approach, assembling teams with deep industry and functional expertise, supported by proprietary methods and a global network. This enables our clients to achieve differentiated results on deals and post-transaction.
We have completed hundreds of engagements for leading private equity firms across North America, Europe, the Middle East, China, and Southeast Asia, creating sustainable shareholder value. The Role And Responsibilities We are not typical management consultants. We provide industry- and discipline-specific expertise to amplify our impact and shape our clients' futures. We seek experienced professionals interested in focusing on industries such as FinTech, Aerospace & Defense, and Education, serving private equity clients.
Candidates should have:
Professional experience or exposure to commercial due diligence in management consulting.
Experience within or across industries in Private Equity.
Knowledge of customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.).
Strong strategic problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
An undergraduate or advanced degree from a reputable academic program.
Initiative and eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
Creativity and ability to generate innovative solutions.
Aptitude for analytical work, such as analyzing large data sets and complex challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully within a talented team.
