Job Posting: Commercial Drywall Project Manager Salary Range:
$110,000 - $130,000 annually Benefits:
Full medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and performance-based bonuses
We have partnered with a well-established commercial drywall contractor actively seeking a skilled
Project Manager
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
drywall and metal stud framing project management , coupled with solid estimating capabilities-especially for change orders and scope modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of drywall and metal stud framing projects from preconstruction through closeout
Coordinate with clients, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost reports
Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to execute project scope accurately
Handle all estimating responsibilities related to change orders, scope revisions, and minor takeoffs as needed
Conduct regular site visits and team meetings to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with plans
Lead and mentor field staff, foremen, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle
Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring client satisfaction and profitability
Qualifications:
Minimum
3 to 5+ years of experience
managing commercial drywall and framing projects
Proven ability to estimate project costs and complete timely change orders
Strong portfolio of successful mid- to large-scale commercial drywall projects
Demonstrated track record of
tenure and commitment
in previous roles
Proficient in project management and estimating software (OST, QuickBid, or similar preferred)
Solid understanding of local building codes, industry practices, and construction documents
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
