About the Role:

Role : Business Systems Analyst 4 Business Analyst required with to support software development IT Projects Client: DBHDS - State of Virginia Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid) Rate: $60/hr Interview Mode: Both Web Cam and In Person Interview Duration: Expected to go to the end of 2026 ON SITE REQUIRED: 2 days in the week.

Must-haves: 1. Strong Communication Skills: A Business Analyst needs to communicate with nearly everyone and consider everybodys needs and concerns. At the same time, they should ensure a shared understanding of the product vision and requirements. 2. Flexibility and Adaptability: A Business Analyst must learn to continuously self-reflect and think how best they can contribute to the team. They should be able to easily adapt to new and changing requirements by doing detailed analysis beforehand. 3. Knowledge of Different Tools and Techniques: A Business Analyst must conduct real-time collaboration, make estimates and reports. A good grasp of the different tools and techniques available is a crucial skill to become aBusiness Analyst. 4. Facilitation skills: Theability to effectively facilitate meetings for requirement gathering is vital. 5. Technical knowledge: Whilenot mandatory, having a technical background can be beneficial, especially when working with development teams.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

Exp with Business Analysis (use cases) Exp with Business Process Flow documentation Knowledge of Different Tools and Techniques for Business Analysis Exp with both Waterfall Methodology Facilitation skills CBAP Certification Technical knowledge Strong Communication Skills Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

Product Management

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

1.Perform all tasks related to business analysis, conduct analysis, determine problems, identify business needs, elicit requirements, and manage stakeholders to meet business and project objectives. During execution, they facilitate the implementation of the Product, service, or result of the project. 2.Act as the link between the Business Owner and the technical IT team. 3. Define project scope and risk analysis. 4. Facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer between stakeholders and the development team. 5. Track metrics like user adoption and engagement to identify areas for improvement. 6. Facilitate and or participate in user acceptance testing and business validation discussions and meetings. 7. Help break requirements (or user stories) into Minimum Viable Product (MVP). 8. Help development team understand bigger picture. 9. Convert business requirements into business process flows and functional requirements. 10. Create deliverables such as: Business Requirement Document Context Diagram Dateflow Diagram Business Case Decision Brief Current and future State Diagrams Process Diagrams Test Cases and/or Scripts Training and Education materials Requests for Proposals 11. Evaluate and test developed solutions to ensure compliance with requirements
