Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a specialized 225-bed care hospital focusing on various health services, including Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, and more.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. - Assess and document patient conditions, implementing care plans based on best practices. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care. - Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1, ensuring every patient receives personalized attention. - Float to Neuro/Ortho/Peds, Med/Surg, and Cardiac units, as necessary. - Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures while promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Qualifications: - Current RN license in the state of Michigan. - Basic Med/Surg skills are a must; experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred. - Ability to work effectively with adult patients within a diverse patient population. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff. - Required certifications as per facility standards.
