???? The Role: Certified
Prosthetist/Orthotist As a Certified
Orthotist/Prosthetist,
you’ll evaluate patients, design and fit custom orthotic and prosthetic devices, and ensure each one meets their functional and therapeutic needs. You’ll work hands-on with patients, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and provide ongoing adjustments and support to help patients regain mobility and independence.
???? What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree, or Masters Certificate in Orthotics and certification by the American Board for Certification (ABC) as an Orthotist or Certification in Orthotics from the Board of Certification (BOC)
Excellent communicator (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Passion for customer service—you love helping people
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
???? What You’ll Be Doing Evaluate Patients: Get to know each patient’s needs and goals to provide custom orthotic or prosthetic solutions
Hands-On Care: Cast, scan, fit, and adjust devices to ensure maximum comfort and function—because a good fit changes lives
Educate & Empower: Teach patients how to use and care for their devices with confidence
Make any necessary adjustments post-delivery to keep devices functioning their best
Complete chart notes and maintain accurate patient records
Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and clinical/technical staff to create the best outcomes
Provide care in a variety of settings—home visits, hospitals, nursing homes, and more
