About the Role
As we scale our Grocery business, we’re hiring an Associate Manager for our Consumer growth team. You will define go-to-market strategies, launch and oversee growth initiatives, and analyze data to identify opportunities that influence our product strategy. Your work will impact the grocery business by attracting, retaining, and engaging consumers, focusing on creating an in-app grocery experience superior to in-store shopping, especially in categories like meat, produce, and dairy. This role is based in New York or San Francisco, with a hybrid work model and occasional in-person meetings.
Responsibilities
- Strategize: Develop strategies from first principles to best serve customers.
- Operate: Manage tracking dashboards and monitor metrics to ensure high-quality operations.
- Analyze: Use Excel and SQL to evaluate costs and benefits of programs and experiments.
- Experiment: Turn strategies into operational experiments with measurable outcomes.
- Build: Launch new products, improve daily, and scale new initiatives, from strategy to operational details.
- Lead and Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams including growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships, and product teams to scale the Grocery business.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4-6+ years in analytical, cross-functional environments (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, etc.).
- Ownership: Proactive in improving work and owning outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial: Bias for action, capable of building from the ground up.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in SQL and Excel for data analysis and modeling.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to synthesize complex problems and translate goals into plans.
- Versatility: Comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels.
- Adaptability: Thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree completed.

Compensation
The starting salary ranges from $98,600 to $145,000 USD, based on experience, skills, location, and market conditions.
