Amazon is seeking a Sr. Data Science Manager to drive the mission of the Perfect Order Experience (POE) AI team. The role involves leading cross-functional teams to create data-driven solutions that enhance customer experiences and seller success through advanced analytics and AI.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a Cross-functional Team Of Scientists And Engineers To
• Spearhead initiatives transforming data infrastructure to power advanced analytics, generative AI solutions, and foundation model development.
• Partner with business teams to deliver econometric analyses and scientific solutions that optimize decision-making processes.
• Champion the generative AI transformation by developing AI tools that strike the right balance between automation and human insights.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong track record in developing and implementing AI/ML solutions at scale.
• Expertise in modern data infrastructure and analytics platforms.
Preferred:
• Demonstrated experience with generative AI and foundation models
• Strong background in statistical analysis and econometrics
• Expertise in Data infrastructure and big data technologies
• Experience with ML Ops and production deployment of AI systems
