Job Description:

n

Parsons is looking for a Civil Engineer to join our transportation infrastructure team in Peachtree Corners! In this role you will perform various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a Bachelors in Civil Engineering program, and available data in the engineering field. Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, you will assist in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents for road/highway projects.

Responsibilities:

n

Performs various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a Bachelors in Civil Engineering program, and available data in the engineering field.

n

Prepares or assists in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and designs.

n

Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.

n

Provides input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.

n

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field), with coursework or emphases in transportation engineering and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.

    Proficiency in CAD software (preferably Bentley products) and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is also required.

    Experience in 3D modeling using OpenRoads Designer or InRoads is a plus.

Salary Range: $29.95 - $52.40
