ATI is seeking a technically skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This in-person role focuses on the design, development, and optimization of high-performance drivetrain components for racing and performance automotive applications. You’ll work closely with manufacturing, quality, and assembly teams to bring innovative, -ready designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

n

· Design and develop high-precision drivetrain components for motorsports and performance vehicles

n

· Lead multiple engineering projects from concept through production in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

n

· Perform detailed stress analysis, FEA, and tolerance stack-ups to ensure durability and performance under extreme conditions

n

· Collaborate with machinists and technicians to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly

n

· Support testing, validation, and continuous improvement based on real-world performance data

n

· Maintain detailed documentation of design iterations, calculations, and test results

n

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:

n

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s for advanced simulation or materials focus)

n

· 5–10 years of experience in product development, preferably in motorsports or high-performance automotive sectors

n

· Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and Autodesk Inventor ); strong understanding of GD&T

n

Advanced knowledge of:
- Fatigue and stress life prediction for rotating components
- Tolerance analysis and stack-up calculations
- Materials science, including metallurgy, heat treatment, and surface coatings

n

Familiarity with :

n

* CNC machining, welding, and precision assembly

n

*Skilled in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, hardness testers) and CMM

n

*Excellent communication and documentation skills

n

*Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or in a small, agile team

n
