Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough inspections of vehicle engines, mechanical systems, and electrical components to accurately diagnose issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools to assess and repair vehicle computer systems and electronic components.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and lubrication of parts to maximize vehicle performance and lifespan.
  • Advise customers on proper vehicle use and schedule future maintenance appointments.
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts, including addressing issues such as fluid leaks or brake failures.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair work, including cost, labor, and time required.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all repairs, maintenance services, and diagnostic findings.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, clean, and in safe working condition.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
  • Strong understanding of automotive mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting results.
  • Capable of operating various hand and power tools, as well as heavy equipment such as vehicle lifts.
  • Committed to following all safety regulations and precautions when handling hazardous materials and working with vehicles.
  • Physically fit, with the ability to work in a demanding, hands-on environment.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Vocational training, technical certification, or completed apprenticeship is strongly preferred.
  • Possession of valid mechanic certifications (e.g., ASE) is a plus.

Work Environment:
This role requires working in a garage/shop setting and may involve exposure to loud noises, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. Safety equipment will be provided and required.
