Description
The Summer student worker will provide safe, clean, and healthy environments for the Thaddeus Stevens College campus community through the performance of their job duties
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Floor work, including vacuuming, sweeping,
• Clean all areas of assigned area within facilities and provide service to horizontal and vertical surfaces, including glass, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures. Working at elevated heights is sometimes required. Clean, sanitize, and disinfect all restroom surfaces and restock paper and soap supplies.
• Cleans building exterior to include sweeping walks to curb.
• Use of commercial cleaning equipment.
• Trash removal both inside and around the exterior of the building.
• Moving furniture and supplies, and equipment all around the main campus.
• Report and communicate repair needs for buildings and equipment.
• Help and work with custodial staff with Set-ups as needed
• Observed and reports hazardous conditions.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned and directed.
• Painting handrails, railings, public spaces, etc.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Sweep & Dust mop floors
• Check bathroom male-only males & female-only females
• Report broken items in writing
• Be available to work home sporting events (football, basketball, wrestling) set-up for events work the events
• Set up banquets, move and set up tables, empty trash, staging, signage,
• Lift up to 50LBS.
