Sr. Guidewire Developer - Billingcenter
As our Guidewire Developer, you will utilize various tools to add functionality and prevent issues in our Guidewire software, specifically in BillingCenter, as we transition several markets to the Guidewire system.
What Youll Do
Work on sprint stories in a 2-week Agile sprint cycle, primarily focusing on development tasks such as coding in Gosu using Studio, a customized version of IntelliJ.
Develop features including batches, UI changes, message queues, web service integrations, page configuration modifications, and unit tests using Guidewires framework.
Support testing efforts by designing and executing testing plans.
Participate in code reviews and present your work during sprint reviews to team members and stakeholders, including large audiences.
What Youll Need Prior experience with Guidewire, especially PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, focusing on integration and configuration. Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Studio for coding; familiarity with Mulesoft, React, or Node.js is a plus. Desired experience with APD framework, Integration framework, and MuleSoft. Experience in a production environment, including on-call troubleshooting, bug fixing, and log analysis. Understanding of Agile practices, including daily standups and sprint delivery. Knowledge of web service integration, including Postman, SOAP, and REST. Comfort with public speaking and explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
