We are searching for an Operations & Maintenance Technician for one of our clients in the Northeast with power plant facilities.
The O&M Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment, including the maintenance and monitoring of mechanical systems throughout the facility. Key duties include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, conducting routine inspections, and leading contractor work. The technician also operates plant equipment, manages the storeroom inventory, and interacts with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities. This role requires strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, along with the ability to work independently, manage rotating shifts, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Looking for someone with 5-10 years of relevant experience in power plant operations, and specific certifications, including a New Jersey Black Seal. Degree is not required but preferred.
Additional requirements include proficiency with data systems, a certified mobile equipment operator license, and low pressure boiler operator experience. This role involves flexible hours, overtime, and the responsibility to ensure the facility operates safely, reliably, and in compliance with all regulations.
