Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour
***Sign-On Bonus: $1,500.00***
As a CDL B Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and pickup of containers, ensuring each interaction with customers is professional and positive. Your primary goal will be to guarantee safe and effective transport of containers while fostering strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer locations.
Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift equipment, logging maintenance as necessary.
Adapt to add-on deliveries as required to meet business demands.
Utilize a company-provided handheld computer for navigation and delivery verification.
Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane efficiently as needed.
Inspect and clean containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery.
Handle rental paperwork and payments with customers accurately.
Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues, preparing detailed driver notes as necessary.
Perform necessary repairs of containers and lifts, both in the field and at the storage center.
Provide support for storage center operations when required.
Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, ensuring it is free from debris inside and out.
Management & Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role typically reports to the Market Manager or Territory Manager.
This position does not involve direct management of other employees.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restrictions is mandatory.
Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license.
Must meet all PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
A minimum age of 21 years is required for insurance purposes.
A valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum one-year certification per DOT requirements is necessary.
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred.
Basic math skills are essential for performing required duties.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience are considered.
Able to attend a mandatory 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
