The Position Planners assigned to the Land Development (Current Planning) Section within Development Services Department are responsible for a wide variety of duties ranging from counter work to overseeing project planning and management. Planners address current planning issues which involve implementing ordinances, reviewing development proposals, and addressing both local and regional planning issues that impact Encinitas. The vacancy will be staffed at the Planner III or IV level.
