IS MANDATORY) Key Responsibilities: Architecture Review & Optimizationo Assess the current Snowflake-based data platform architecture. o Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in data transformation and processing. o Recommend architectural improvements for scalability,

performance,

and cost-efficiency.

Code & SQL Reviewo Conduct detailed reviews of DBT models,

SnowSQL scripts,

and transformation logic. o Validate adherence to best practices in modularity,

reusability,

and performance tuning. o Suggest improvements for query optimization and resource utilization.

Performance Tuningo Analyze slow-running queries and transformation pipelines. o Implement strategies for warehouse sizing,

clustering,

caching,

and materialization. o Guide the team on Snowflake-specific performance features (e. g. ,

result caching,

automatic clustering).

Best Practices & Governanceo Establish coding standards and naming conventions for DBT and SnowSQL. o Define data governance,

lineage,

and documentation practices. o Recommend monitoring and alerting mechanisms for data pipeline health.

Collaboration & Mentorshipo Work closely with data engineers,

analysts,

and platform teams. o Mentor junior developers on Snowflake and DBT development. o Participate in sprint planning,

code reviews,

and architectural discussions. ________________________________________Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Cloud Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer in Snowflake and other Cloud DB environments.

Strong hands-on expertise in DBT,

SnowSQL,

and SQL performance tuning.

Familiarity with Oracle Exadata and PL/SQL is a plus for comparative analysis.

10+ years experience in data modeling ( logical and physical ),

ETL/ELT design,

and designing and implementing data warehouse ,

performance tuning and optimization.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines,

version control,

and deployment automation.

Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations. ________________________________________Preferred Qualifications: Snowflake Architect Certification ,

Experience in banking or financial services data platforms.

Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS,
