POSITION PURPOSE

Roland DGA Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack React Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our suite of applications by developing modern, responsive web interfaces using React.js and building or integrating robust backend services with .NET and RESTful APIs. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and teammates to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant solutions that enhance user experience and drive innovation across our digital platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

FRONTEND DEVELOPMENT:

• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Implement reusable components and front-end libraries.

• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.

• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

• Collaborate with designers to ensure high-quality UI/UX.

BACKEND DEVELOPMENT:

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and server-side services using ASP.NET Core.

• Design and manage data models and database integrations with platforms such as SQL, Dynamics 365, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Ensure security, data protection, and compliance best practices are followed.

• Develop backend logic and server-side application functionality.

• Monitor, debug, and enhance the performance and reliability of backend services.

GENERAL:

• Provide ongoing support for production systems and troubleshooting issues, as needed.

• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.

• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment workflows.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies as part of a collaborative development team.

• Maintain detailed documentation and clean, well-structured code.

• Collaborate effectively with a diverse, global team, embracing a variety of cultural perspectives and work styles.

• Continuously stay informed on emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in full stack development.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree, industry certifications, or equivalent experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Modern C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core

• React and TypeScript

• SQL

• Strong understanding of fundamental web concepts, including HTTP, authentication/authorization, accessibility, and internationalization/localization

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience developing full-stack web applications from start to finish using React, TypeScript, C#, and .NET

• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for web applications

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling such as Azure Pipelines

• Familiarity with cloud hosting providers such as Microsoft Azure

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Microsoft TFVC, and issue trackers

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Skilled in prioritizing work based on urgency and business impact

• Effective collaborator, capable of engaging with stakeholders and cross-functional team members

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Able to perform algebra.

LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to quickly read and understand technical periodicals, manuals, and articles.
