Hourly Wage:
$23.00 Job Overview:
Join our team as a part-time CDL A driver responsible for safe and efficient delivery and pickup of containers to customer locations. Enjoy the benefit of home nightly while maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to safely load and unload containers at customer sites. Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle and lift and log findings accurately. Adapt to business needs by accepting add-on deliveries as required. Utilize a company handheld computer for navigation and delivery verification. Possess skills to operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane. Ensure containers are clean and presentable for delivery. Manage rental paperwork and payments with customers efficiently. Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues. Perform repairs on containers and lifts as needed in the field and at the storage center. Provide support for storage center functions when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized truck cab. Be open to performing additional duties as assigned. Management and Reporting: Report to management personnel such as Market Manager or Territory Manager. This position is not directly responsible for managing other employees. Pay Range:
$23.00 per hour Benefits:
Safety bonuses available, boot vouchers, and uniforms provided. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction. Must hold a current/valid driver’s license. Meet the PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Minimum age of 21 due to insurance requirements. Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain at least a 1-year certification. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred. Basic math skills for job functions.
