Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY As a CDL B Truck Driver, you will be key in delivering and picking up containers at various customer locations. Your focus will be on ensuring safe, effective, and timely service, while building strong relationships with our customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift equipment. Be adaptable to accept additional delivery requests as needed to support business operations. Utilize company-provided handheld computers for delivery verification and navigation purposes. Operate forklifts or overhead cranes when necessary. Ensure cleanliness and presentability of containers prior to customer delivery. Manage rental documentation and payments in collaboration with customers. Address customer inquiries and issues by communicating effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager, ensuring all driver notes are prepared. Perform on-site repairs of containers and lifts as required. Assist with logistics and operations at the storage center when needed. Maintain the cleanliness of the truck interior and exterior at all times. Be ready to take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Reports to Management, typically including roles such as Market Manager or Territory Manager. This position does not include the responsibility for managing other employees. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction. Current and valid driver license required. Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Must be at least 21 years old to meet insurance requirements. Possess or be able to obtain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT requirement). Experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Strong math skills necessary for job functions. Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience will also be considered. Willingness to complete a 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program is essential.
