The Senior Concept Designer will focus on enhancing user experiences through the integration of structures, graphics, material finishes, lighting, and digital elements to create memorable engagements. This position requires a deep understanding of structural design, graphic design, experiential design, environmental design, space planning, and wayfinding to develop strategic design solutions. The Senior Concept Designer will work closely with internal teams and clients to understand their needs and objectives, delivering innovative solutions that encompass the entire event, from overarching concepts to individual activations and engagements.

Key Contributions of the Role

Create conceptual designs and detailed visuals for experiential and exhibit projects for trade shows.

Contribute design expertise to develop a distinctive “Look of the Show” or “Client Branding” that establishes a strong visual identity.

Design custom graphics and promotional literature pieces as needed.

Provide the production team with print-ready graphic files for various projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Maintain quality control by ensuring that all designs adhere to the company's structural and graphic standards and branding guidelines.

Collaborate with the creative team and other departments to ensure that all designs meet client needs and project objectives.

Prepare files for print production, including proper formatting, fonts, and color profiles.

Oversee the print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy, and image quality.

Lead discovery sessions with clients and internal teams to clearly communicate ideas and design concepts.

Provide expertise in event ideation and concept development, transforming client objectives into engaging, strategic, and visually compelling experiences.

Manage the creative process from initial concept through execution, ensuring design concepts align with event goals, brand messaging, and attendee engagement strategies.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years designing for trade shows, events, exhibits, or a similar industry.

Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience using a professional rendering application such as 3ds Max with Chaos or VRay rendering engines.

Comprehensive skills in 3D visualization, ranging from conceptual sketches to highly realistic renderings.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with AutoCAD.

Ability to adapt to changing requirements within tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines; availability for night and weekend work may be required.

Self-motivated and passionate with a strong work ethic and excellent time management.

Ability to pivot from independent problem-solving to team collaboration.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
