Job Summary and Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the charge in establishing and driving the supply expense agenda for clinical resource management across one or more hospitals. Your initiatives will directly support the organization’s clinical expense strategy. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing strategies to reduce supply expenses per adjusted admission.
Identifying opportunities for improvement in supply expense margins, particularly in high-cost departments such as surgical services and Cath labs.
Analyzing supply expense variances and formulating action plans to control costs while participating in monthly operating reviews.
Facilitating and leading value analysis meetings to ensure efficient use of resources.
Collaborating with clinical product value analysis committees to assess clinical evidence, financial implications, and opportunities for standardizing products.
Building strong relationships with hospital leadership and clinical teams to enhance satisfaction and collaboration.
Working with facility leadership and supply chain teams to develop cost containment processes and improve quality outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required.
Demonstrated experience in healthcare value analysis or clinical supply chain management is essential.
A Master's degree is highly preferred.
3-5 years of experience in value analysis or hospital leadership is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CMRP or CVAHP are advantageous.
