Join our team as a Class B Driver! You will play a crucial role in delivering and picking up containers, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. We are looking for committed individuals who prioritize safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift, logging necessary details.
Accept additional deliveries as required to support business operations.
Utilize company handheld devices for delivery verification and navigation.
Operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes as needed.
Inspect and clean containers to ensure they meet presentation standards for deliveries.
Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers effectively.
Communicate any customer inquiries or issues with the Driver Lead or Market Manager, preparing notes as necessary.
Perform field repairs on containers and lifts efficiently.
Provide support for storage center functions as required.
Maintain truck cleanliness by keeping the cab clear of debris.
Management Responsibilities:
Typically reports to Management. Direct supervision from roles like Market Manager or Territory Manager.
This position does NOT have direct responsibilities for managing other employees.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid CDL Class B License, without air brake restriction.
Maintain a current/valid driver’s license.
Adhere to PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
Hold a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or be able to obtain certification for a minimum of one year.
Experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred.
Possess necessary math skills to perform job duties.
Ability to attend a required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
