The Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) is responsible for supporting franchisees by ensuring adherence to brand standards, operational best practices, financial modeling, and collaborative problem solving related to the key drivers of success for the clinics they support. The FBC may support a region of Ellie franchise locations or specialize in onboarding new franchisees and locations, depending on current needs and the candidate's skillset.
The FBC coaches business owners on the Ellie business model and network best practices, utilizing collaborative relationship skills, business operational expertise, and financial experience. They work closely with franchisees to support their success, driving unit-level performance, growth, and profitability daily.
Position Location:
This position is hybrid, requiring regular presence at our corporate office in Mendota Heights, MN. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, KS, MN, NC, ND, OH, PA, TX, VA, WI.

The salary range is $80,000 - $120,000 annually plus bonus potential, based on experience and qualifications.
Required Skills/Abilities:
At least 3+ years in account management, franchise consulting, multi-unit operations, or related fields Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations or equivalent experience; Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus Strong financial modeling, operational, and business development skills Experience coaching or mentoring business owners, especially in franchises or multi-unit settings Proven ability to enhance performance, growth, and profitability through strategic planning Resourceful, adaptable, solution-oriented with strong interpersonal skills Proficient in analyzing business metrics (P&L, expenses, staffing, KPIs) and data-driven decision making Ability to identify systemic issues impacting performance and stakeholder experience Skilled in building trust and collaboration with stakeholders Exhibits sound judgment, integrity, responsibility, excellent communication, and punctuality Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies Responsibilities include:
Franchisee Support:
Work closely with franchisees to understand challenges and develop tailored strategies Consult on financial aspects like staffing, productivity, revenue drivers, expense management, forecasting, and EBITDA enhancement Act as a trusted advisor for operational, financial, and clinic-related issues Assist in creating and monitoring annual forecasts and dashboards Coordinate communication between franchisees and cross-functional teams Support franchise expansion plans Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Assess financial, operational, and marketing efforts to identify improvement opportunities Lead quarterly performance assessments and goal setting Provide both qualitative and quantitative performance evaluations Compliance & Standards:
Ensure franchisees follow brand standards and operational procedures Support cross-department initiatives and resource utilization Franchise Network Engagement:
Share best practices and success stories across the network Gather and relay franchisee feedback to improve systems and support Balance brand and franchisee interests, supporting business system changes and addressing issues Other duties as assigned Travel Expectations:
