JOB SUMMARY As a CDL A Delivery Driver, you will ensure our customers receive their products safely and efficiently by transporting deliveries from our warehouse and unloading them according to established standards. Evening dispatch from Sunday to Friday. The More You Drive; The More You Earn! RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload products from the trailer safely, following customer specifications and company standards. Complete all paperwork accurately in compliance with company and governmental guidelines. Maintain food safety protocols to ensure quality and sanitation of delivered products. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication. Perform other duties as assigned by management. REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/GED/equivalent and 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school may substitute for the education requirement. CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe delivery practices. Skill in driving long distances and communicating with customers. Ability to drive day and night, remain alert, and meet established productivity levels. Capable of performing basic math functions and organizing work independently. Able to read and speak English fluently for effective communication. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires the ability to sit, talk, hear, lift, push, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds by hand and maneuver heavier loads with a hand cart. Specific vision abilities and the capacity to adapt to varied working conditions are necessary. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Job responsibilities may expose the associate to hot, cold, and humid conditions, require working during varying shifts, and involve travel. Noise levels typically remain moderate.
