Job Summary
As a Class B CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering and picking up containers from customer locations. You will ensure safe and efficient transport while building strong relationships with clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safely drive and operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers.
Conduct thorough daily pre and post-trip inspections of commercial vehicles and equipment.
Adapt to add-on deliveries to align with business needs.
Utilize a company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as required.
Clean and inspect containers to guarantee they are ready for customer delivery.
Manage rental paperwork and payments with customers efficiently.
Collaborate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager to address customer inquiries and concerns; document necessary driver notes.
Perform repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center.
Provide support for storage center operations when necessary.
Maintain a clean truck cab by keeping it free from debris inside and out.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Management & Supervisory Responsibilities
Reports to Management; typical supervisors include Market Manager and Territory Manager.
This position does not involve managing other employees.

Qualifications: Education & Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid CDL Class B License required, without air brake restriction.
Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license.
Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
Minimum age of 21 years (insurance requirement).
Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum one-year certification (DOT requirement).
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred.
Sufficient math skills to perform required duties.
Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
Must attend the required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
