About the Role: We are seeking highly experienced Associate Search Consultants to join us as independent contractors. This role is ideal for a seasoned search professional (8-10 years of experience) who thrives on autonomy, has a strong personal network, and enjoys both business development and delivery of senior-level search assignments. As an Associate Search Consultant, you will manage the full search lifecycle while also taking ownership of developing and expanding your own client relationships. You will work independently but will be supported by senior consultants and shared resources when delivering on mandates. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Client Engagement Identify and develop new client relationships within your practice area. Leverage your network to open new opportunities and build a personal desk. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and talent priorities. Search Delivery Lead end-to-end search assignments, including market research, talent mapping, candidate sourcing, approach, assessment, and management of the interview process. Present qualified shortlists and provide consultative advice throughout the selection process. Collaboration & Market Insight Partner with senior consultants on joint mandates where appropriate. Share market intelligence, trends, and insights with the team and clients. Build and nurture a strong network of candidates within your area of expertise. Requirements: 8 to 10 years of experience in executive search, retained search, or specialist recruitment, ideally with exposure to senior-level mandates. A proven track record in business development and client relationship management. Strong research, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Professional presence, excellent communication skills, and strong relationship-building capability. High standards of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality. Familiarity with modern sourcing platforms, digital tools, and reporting processes. Engagement Model This is an independent contractor/associate consultant role. Operate under a brand name with regional offices. You will have access to an office and admin support.
