Multimedia Creative Designer II - Global Brand Creative

This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ office near Portland, Oregon. The expectation is for employees to be in-office 3 days or more per week, depending on business need. This in-office expectation is subject to change at business discretion.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Columbia Brand Creative team focuses on delivering a compelling look, feel, voice, and tone that reflect the company's values and evolving brand perception.
In this role, you will help develop creative concepts and participate in the production process. It is essential to have a fundamental understanding and professional experience in multimedia creation and presentation design.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Create valuable brand content such as visual direction, video edits, presentation design, and creative strategy.
Contribute to the success of brand creative by collaborating through each season's production process.
Support internal and external design partners in brand storytelling through strong communication skills.
Update seasonal mockups and toolkits that inform and guide global partners.
Work with a talented team, navigate challenges, and provide innovative solutions.
YOU ARE A creative capable of creating and selecting strong visuals (photo, video, graphics).
Organized and self-sufficient in multimedia creation.
Skilled in problem-solving and adapting quickly to change.
Knowledgeable about trends in culture, design, art, fashion, social media, motion graphics, and able to utilize them on-brand.
Eager to learn and undeniably talented.
YOU HAVE At least 2 years of experience as a multimedia designer, brand designer, or similar role.
Applied skills in creative direction, with emphasis on video capture and editing, photography, and photo editing.
Proven ability to create strong presentations and graphic layouts.
Ability to travel globally 10-20% of the time.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office; Cinema 4D is a plus.
