Direct message the job poster from The Mullings Group As a key member of the Digital Solutions team, the Data Informatics & Analytics Specialist will spearhead critical data initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of data informatics projects, advanced analytics, and customer connectivity solutions. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in Data Analytics, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Visualization tools, modern ETL processes, and Cloud Data Warehouse platforms. This individual will act as a pivotal liaison, collaborating cross-functionally with internal departments including finance, regulatory, quality, marketing, as well as with external hospital IT and cybersecurity professionals. The ultimate objective is to empower the organization and its customers by transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and success. About the Role The Data Informatics & Analytics Specialist will lead various data management and analytics initiatives, ensuring data quality and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: Data Management & Governance Design, develop and maintain robust data pipeline for ingesting, transforming, and loading diverse datasets from various sources including medical devices, EMRs, CRMs (e.g. Splunk, Tableau, Informatica, and BigQuery) including 3rd party transfers using FTP, API, or similar. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security: implement best practices for data validation, cleansing, and governance in compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and company policies to ensure data integrity and security. Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability for both internal and external analytics needs. Create and maintain documentation for databases and workflows. Internal Analytics & Business Intelligence Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to device performance, sales, marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Pendo.io, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Clinical Affairs). Support cross-functional teams with data-driven decision-making by providing ad-hoc analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics for strategic planning and problem-solving. Customer-Facing Connectivity & Analytics Develop and implement data solutions that enable seamless connectivity between medical devices and customer-facing platforms, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange. Design and deliver customer-facing analytics solutions that provide valuable insights into device usage, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency for healthcare providers. Create compelling data visualizations and reports for external stakeholders, effectively communicating the value proposition of medical devices through data-driven narratives. Provide technical support and training to customers on data access, interpretation, and utilization of analytics tools and dashboards. Required Skills Proven experience with Splunk, Tableau, Informatica, and Google BigQuery including reporting and tool creation. Working knowledge of SQL, or GoogleSQL and programming experience (Java preferred). Strong knowledge of database management (including NoSQL) and interrelationships. Proficiency in workflow management and documentation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with advanced analytics and data visualization tools. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance. Seniority level
