Position: Senior Front-End (UI) Software Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Front-End Software Engineer to lead the design and development of responsive, scalable, and accessible UI features. This role involves technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a strong understanding of modern front-end technologies and software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of responsive front-end architecture for micro frontends. Ensure high performance, scalability, maintainability, and WCAG-compliant accessibility. Apply modern engineering practices such as BDD, CI/CD, shift-left testing, and 12-factor app principles. Design and integrate APIs to support seamless interaction with backend microservices and external cloud services. Utilize AI coding assistants (e.g., Ford LLM, GitHub Copilot) effectively in daily development workflows. Collaborate with frontend and backend architects to translate designs into technical requirements. Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to align UI development with product vision. Develop and maintain robust UI components using Next.js and React.js. Provide technical guidance to UI developers and enforce best practices. Test and debug UI across browsers and devices. Stay current with UI development trends and technologies. Contribute to eCommerce product modules with high-quality front-end components.
Required Skills:
React.js / Next.js JavaScript Microservices integration Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Front-end architecture and performance optimization
Preferred Skills:
Java / Spring Boot SQL / Database development AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Performance testing
Experience Requirements:
3+ years in front-end development using React or Next.js 3+ years integrating with APIs/microservices 3+ years working with GCP services 5+ years working in Agile teams 3+ years in CI/CD practices
Preferred Experience:
3+ years in Java/Spring Boot 3+ years in SQL 2+ years in AEM development
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
