Responsible for improving the delivery of products and change management for our internal customers.This includes setting the product strategy, advocating for the advancement of the product, and leading the analysis and direction of business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead discussions with and advocate for our internal customers
Role must ensure that the solutions are understood by the business and IT stakeholders and appropriately chartered
Lead the demand management intake and prioritization / roadmap for their area of responsibility
Lead team of contributors to employ the best methodologies and strategies to optimize performance and continuously analyze evolving business need
Gather requirements and coordinate implementation with IT
Gather requirements from internal customers in a way that: ensures they are clearly understood, aligned with business strategies, effectively communicated and tracked, including clearly defined minimum success criteria and defining what "done" looks like
Writes user stories, specifications and develops process workflows. Responsible for acceptance criteria for readiness for development
Optimize backlog across multiple stakeholders where there's opportunity to improve the overall quality and time-to-market of changes requested
Participate in Agile cadence such as Scrum standup meetings, backlog grooming sessions, review and retrospective meetings
Communicate and support change management efforts
Report to leadership on productivity and value of existing and upcoming features
Work closely with training team and the business on change management efforts
Write and communicate release plans and ensure customers are supported with customer service and help desk teams to increase accessibility, access to products and the right solutions
Organizing and prioritizing
Support the organization of work as well as portfolio management and prioritization
Establish and maintain agreements between team members on requirements
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and
typically requires 4+ years of
relevant experience
Critical Skills
Product ownership or product / program management and a record of success in analyzing, designing, and deploying features across products and solutions (3 years preferred)
Experience with Route Optimization, Inbound & Outbound freight, and Inventory Tracking and Movement (2 years)
Experience with WMS/WES platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan)
Experience working within Agile based methodology (1 year+)
Strong communication with
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Ability to use strong communication skills to convey complex ideas to a wide diversity of people, including technical, business, and leadership teams
Strong analytics skills needed
Strong business acumen needed
Experience with UX technologies preferred
Experience in the manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution sectors, preferred.
Experience running and managing change management program
Experience in working with various stakeholders in the development of technical solutions
Excellent technical depth in requirements development suitable for development
Running pilot programs and A/B testing
Gathering and analyzing aggregate and objective feedback related to product development
Experience with development tools including Atlassian or JIRA
Troubleshooting and problem-solving
PMP certification preferred
Travel
Up to 10% travel required
Education
4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $91,500 - $152,500
