We are seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer who will be an integral part of our growing team - contributing expertise in Signal Processing, Software Radio, Machine Learning, and 3GPP wireless systems to design, develop, and integrate groundbreaking 5G/6G capabilities for a variety of customer hardware platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with Intel or ARM-based SIMD instruction sets, FPGA-based DSP design, and/or significant experience designing and implementing DSP-accelerated solutions. Some Of What Youll Be Doing Design, develop, and optimize software-based SIMD-focused solutions for 5G wireless communications systems. Work with and integrate our software within vRAN physical layers such as FlexRAN, OAI, or Aerial SDK. Propose conventional DSP solutions to augment and improve existing capabilities. Collaborate with the ML team to ensure solutions can be effectively implemented within GPP instruction set and compute constraints. Implement ML concepts into AVX-accelerated fixed-point software solutions. Work with RAN engineers to deploy and validate DeepSigs 5G capabilities. Explore and incorporate new technologies to improve product performance. Use version control systems like Git and project management tools like Jira.
What We Need To See
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related. Interest in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI for RF applications. 5+ years experience with Digital Signal Processing related to SDR and/or Machine Learning. 5+ years experience with C++. Experience with SIMD instruction set, FPGA, or DSP-processor-based fixed-point design for wireless systems. Experience with C, Python, MATLAB/Octave, Jupyter, CMake, Linux, Docker. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
What We Would Like To See
Experience with Intel AVX intrinsics, LTE or 5G PHY Layer, 3GPP/ITU standards, physical layer stacks like OAI, FlexRAN, Aerial SDK, O-RAN infrastructure, Torch, TensorFlow, CUDA.
