We are seeking an experienced Java Software Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Front End/UI applications for Social Services programs. The developer will contribute to a wide range of enterprise-level web applications and services, supporting systems such as the State Portal, Workflow Management, Eligibility Web Services, and more. This role involves full-stack UI development within a J2EE/SOA platform using Agile methodologies, with an emphasis on responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization. Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Software Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Front End/UI applications for Social Services programs. The developer will contribute to a wide range of enterprise-level web applications and services, supporting systems such as the State Portal, Workflow Management, Eligibility Web Services, and more. This role involves full-stack UI development within a J2EE/SOA platform using Agile methodologies, with an emphasis on responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance UI components for web-based applications using Angular and related frameworks. Support and improve applications such as the State Portal, Workflow Management, Family Violence Program, and other Social Services platforms. Participate in all phases of the SDLC including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and scalable application delivery. Troubleshoot and resolve system defects, perform code fixes, and ensure application performance. Write and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures. Ensure ADA/Accessibility compliance in all UI components. Apply caching strategies, authentication/authorization protocols, and performance tuning best practices. Perform application testing using frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium. Provide ongoing support for production systems and participate in deployment and implementation efforts.
