Competitive Pay: $21.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY Join our team as a CDL B Driver, responsible for safely delivering and picking up containers while ensuring an excellent experience for our customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites. Conduct and log daily pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift. Handle add-on deliveries as needed to meet operational requirements. Utilize the company’s handheld computer for delivery confirmation and navigation. Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as necessary. Ensure containers are cleaned and inspected, maintaining a high standard for customer deliveries. Coordinate rental paperwork and payment effectively with customers. Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues. Perform necessary repairs for containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center. Provide backup support for storage center operations when required. Maintain a clean and organized truck cab (inside and out). Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Reports typically to Management, including job titles like Market Manager or Territory Manager. This position does not have direct management responsibilities over other employees. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License required without air brake restriction. Current and valid driver license maintained. Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. At least 21 years of age (as per insurance requirements). Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum of a 1-year certification (DOT requirement). Proficiency with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Basic math skills necessary to perform essential duties. Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience will be considered. Commitment to attend the required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
