Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Clinical Resource Lead, you will establish and lead the supply expense agenda for our clinical resource management program. You will drive initiatives and create positive change that supports the clinical expense agenda of our healthcare organization. This role involves optimizing the group purchasing organization’s contract portfolio and leading the execution of product standardization with value analysis committees. You will influence various sectors within our organization, building strategic alliances with Hospital Leadership, Physicians, and Supply Chain to achieve our clinical supply expense plan. Ideal candidates will possess confidence, decisiveness, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementing strategies to reduce supply expenses per adjusted admission.
Identifying areas for improving supply expense margins, particularly in high-cost departments.
Analyzing supply expense variances and developing action plans to address increases.
Facilitating value analysis meetings and collaborating with clinical teams.
Utilizing clinical product value analysis committees to maintain quality while optimizing costs.
Fostering strong relationships with hospital leadership, medical staff, and supply chain leaders.
Implementing quality improvement processes for supplies and labor practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or hospital performance is essential.
A Master’s degree is preferred.
3-5 years of relevant leadership experience desired.
Healthcare credentials such as LPN/RN, CMRP, or CVAHP are highly preferred.
