General Manager
is responsible for developing leadership talent, ensuring business profitability, executing strategic initiatives, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Success involves optimizing customer engagement, talent development, and productivity while maintaining brand integrity. You will serve as the link between the brand's vision and its implementation in your store. Direct responsibility for sales and profit performance, ensuring sales & margin goals are met. Own strategic planning and execution of company initiatives to optimize impact for your store. Create a consistent customer experience aligned with RL brand expectations by inspiring your store team. Shape client development strategies and lead community outreach efforts in your market. Set talent strategies, build, and develop a team focused on customer service. Source, recruit, and retain high-performing talent through continuous feedback and coaching. Educate and train staff to build skills and capabilities. Maintain high productivity standards through effective process management, including inventory and shrink goals. Champion the use of new technology to support innovative selling techniques and shopping experiences. Uphold all company policies and procedures. Provide feedback to cross-functional partners, identifying high-profit potential and business trends. Ensure store standards exceed expectations at all times. Create an inclusive environment aligned with Ralph Lauren's values and cultural focus. Qualifications include a college degree or equivalent, retail management experience in a high-volume environment, excellent communication skills, physical ability to work on the sales floor, and flexibility to work various shifts and travel as needed.
