Overview:
Azure Data Manager for Energy (ADME) helps energy companies gain actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate time to market on the enterprise-grade, cloud-based OSDU Data Platform service. It supports innovation with a flexible, open energy platform that developers can build upon and customize. The ADME engineering team is seeking a highly experienced Principal Software Engineering Manager to lead and represent ADME in the OSDU community. This individual will contribute to the OSDU code base through a structured open-source development process, ensuring quality, compliance, and interoperability across the platform. Familiarity with the Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU) platform, especially in data ingestion, platform architecture, or AI/ML applications in energy or industrial domains, is desirable. Guide partnerships with stakeholders to determine user requirements within and across teams. Lead teams in identifying dependencies and developing design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms. Optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI. Drive project and release plans, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders. Monitor system health and act as an expert for Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), overseeing engineers across product lines to ensure system stability and performance.
