We are looking for an experienced, collaborative professional with a systems background who can apply their skills, creativity, and passion to wildlife conservation.
We support our work with a strong infrastructure that includes a modern CRM (Salesforce), digital fundraising tools, and interconnected systems. We're seeking a Systems Administrator who will ensure our technology ecosystem is robust, integrated, and secureso our team can focus on impact.
Position Summary
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and integration of core technology platforms, with a focus on Salesforce and related tools. The role supports both technical operations and strategic initiatives by ensuring data integrity, process automation, and seamless flow of information between systems. This position will also lead the implementation of tools and best practices in order to analyze donor data in order to produce meaningful reports and trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Systems Integration & API Management
Develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms (e.g., Springboard / Classy, FreeWill, Hubspot, Sage Intacct, FormAssembly, etc.)
Research, vet and implement new tools for event management, document generation / e-signature, backup and restore, OFAC checking, etc.
Evaluate current online donation platform (Springboard) as compared with Classy or other applications and coordinate the implementation of improvements to our online donation platform
Configure and troubleshoot middleware or API connections (e.g., Zapier, Apsona, DataBlend, or custom scripts)
Assist with data syncing, ETL processes, and error resolution
Document integration workflows and maintain version control
Salesforce Administration
Assist in launching the Nonprofit Cloud for Grantmaking portal in Salesforce
Share the responsibility of administering Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) with the Salesforce Systems Administrator
Support donor engagement, finance, and program teams with Salesforce dashboards and conduct analysis, and present insights from data using data visualization platforms like Power Bi or Tableau.
Utilize Salesforce Einstein Analytics to generate advanced donor insights and predictive models for giving behavior, retention risk, campaign performance, and revenue forecasting
Develop and track benchmarks and KPIs for donor engagement and revenue growth
Support the implementation and ongoing administration of a Salesforce Experience Cloudbased donor portal
Establish systems for portfolio and prospect management including processes for identification, solicitations and stewardship strategies, gift tracking and documentation, and donor segmentation
Collaborate with the donor engagement and communications teams to enhance the user experience and self-service tools within the portal
Troubleshoot donor access issues and support seamless data flow between the portal and Salesforce
Manage user access, permissions, licenses, and Chatter groups
Stay on top of quarterly Salesforce releases, critical updates, and new features
Cross-Team Support & Training
Collaborate with donor engagement, communications, programs, and finance teams to optimize data workflows
Provide staff and partner training and documentation to onboard and empower users in order to improve adoption
Translate organizational needs into technical solutions
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience administering Salesforce (preferably NPSP)
Experience building and managing API integrations
Strong Salesforce Flow and process automation experience
Proficiency with tools like Zapier, Apsona, DataBlend, or custom API development
Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, especially fundraising / CRM workflows and outbound grants management
Experience with data cleaning, migration, and validation
Familiarity with system needs to support fundraising preferred
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities
Familiarity with online payments, payment processors, and fraud detection / mitigation
Preferred
Salesforce Administrator Certification (or equivalent experience)
Experience implementing Salesforce Einstein Analytics
Experience implementing Salesforce Donor Portal
Experience implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud for Grantmaking
Familiarity with SQL, Python, Apex, CSS, or HTML
Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboard design
Working knowledge of data privacy regulations and data backup / storage solutions
Experience in Project Management and related tools
Compensation and benefits :
Compensation is expected to be in the $90,000 - $100,000 range based on qualifications and experience. In addition, benefits include : medical, dental, vision insurance contributions, chiropractic / acupuncture, basic life insurance, AD&D, Health FSA and Dependent care (pre-tax payroll dollars), a retirement plan where WCN matches 100% of employees contribution up to 6% of employees salary, 11 paid holidays with 1 paid floating holiday, 15 days of paid vacation
in the first year (+1 day per year worked), paid sick leave, and an employee discount program.
