Cape Fox subsidiary, Kwaan Tech, is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team in support of a government customer, serving as the Consular Affairs (CA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) and senior architect. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison with OBO, providing updates on changes to visa and passport procedures and advising on how those changes may affect CA's physical infrastructure.

This position is contingent upon the award.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position is:

$126,100 - $132.200.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Core Duties:

Acts as the advisor to commissioned architects and serves as a technical contributor on projects. Reviews consular designs for program conformity and technical sufficiency, guides the design effort toward acceptable solutions, and recommends approvals or modifications

In coordination with the offices that oversee and consolidate design comments on consular section drawings and specifications to ensure spaces are properly configured to support operations for at least 10 years beyond the date of substantial completion. This includes a review of Space Requirements Planning documents and other technical references

Coordinates with offices on consular area design issues, including space planning, minor construction upgrades, and remodeling

Advises construction teams and provides recommendations on change orders, design intent, and related contractual matters. Participates in post-occupancy evaluations as a member of an interdisciplinary review team

Ensures all critical design issues, including life safety,seismic standards, security, the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA), and fire protection, are addressed, funded, and recorded in the required system

Serves as a resource by providing consular planning information to assist in evaluating and selecting new embassy sites. Provides technical recommendations regarding site suitability

Assists in the development of multi-million-dollar budgets based on overseas consular infrastructure requirements

Reviews design documents, evaluates proposals, and submits design comments via the ProjNet system

Prioritizes design workload for senior management to meet mission-critical design milestones
