$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Primary Function: The Executive Officer to the Deputy Superintendent of School Leadership is responsible for supporting the Deputy Superintendent of School Leadership (DSSL) by coordinating programs/initiatives, and providing support and guidance to campus leaders towards the Charter's mission and goals. Provides DSSL insight to current instructional practices and ensures strategic goals are implemented to increase student academic achievement. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collecting, desegregating, and reporting campus and Charter data/findings to the DSSL. Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience: Previous leadership experience. Experience as a classroom teacher is preferred. Major Responsibilities and Duties: Uses the mission of the charter school, program evaluation outcomes, input from teachers and others to provide effective staff development activities. Cooperates with staff in the scheduling of instructional activities to maximize learning. Ensures the goals and objectives for school climate are developed with the involvement of specialists, teachers, parents, and/or students, when appropriate. Communicates effectively with staff, students, parents, and the community. Meets with parents on behalf of the DSSL to listen and respond to complaints. Relates to staff, students, and parents in ways that convey equality and mutual respect. Demonstrates skill in conflict resolution with administrators, parents, teachers, staff, and/or the community. Responds appropriately to situations that could impair the teaching/learning process. Works cooperatively with others in developing the mission and articulating a vision for the school/district program. Systematically monitors school improvement and district-wide evaluation activities. Uses evaluative findings to determine the extent to which goals and objectives are met. Collects, disaggregates and provides analysis of campus and Charter data. Determines Action Plans based on data findings. Demonstrates appropriate use of student achievement data in interpreting, reporting and acting on results. Actively supports the efforts of others to achieve district goals and objectives. Cooperates with campus staff to effectively implement Eagle Academy and strategizes to increase student achievement. Additional Duties: As assigned by Deputy Superintendent of School Leadership Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Interrelations: Contact with personnel within the district and with parents and students Will be working under the direct supervision of the DSSL in order to complete day to day tasks Will be working with a diverse population requiring the ability to handle all situations with tact and diplomacy Must understand and respond appropriately to customer needs and maintain a positive attitude with all parents, students and colleagues Expected to interact with all internal and external customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service Employee Punctuality and Appearance: In order for schools to operate effectively, employees are expected to perform all assigned duties and work all scheduled hours during each designated workday, unless the employee has received approved leave. Any deviation from assigned hours must have prior approval from the employee’s supervisor. All employees are required to report to work dressed in a manner that reflects a positive image of ILTexas and is appropriate for their position. Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals. Posture:

Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. Motion:

Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching. Lifting:

Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds). Environment:

Available to work 5 days per week 8 hours daily. Mental Demands:
