We own all the stages of incubation for our project, including ideation, development, and experimentation to realize next-gen ideas. You will work on front-end web development solutions by collaborating with Design & UI/UX teams, AI Scientists and R&D engineers on next-gen GenAI Systems.The successful candidate has strong technical skills and is eager to create intuitive user experiences; they pursue the details that surprise and delight our customers; and very importantly, leverage team partnership to navigate and think strategically to deliver extraordinary products. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (with web dev and data science coursework and 10+ years of hands-on web development (with experience designing and building full-stack, data-rich web applications) Experience creating, testing, and maintaining complex web UIs that work with high data volumes and complex domains Proficient with side effect and state management libraries (e.g., redux saga, redux observables) Experience with reactive and/or functional programming, indicating ability to write robust, maintainable code Track record of delivering major features through collaboration with diverse teams Skilled at maintaining & evolving large-scale, modern codebases Strong UX sensibility with the ability to apply best design practices pragmatically Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication; strong organizational skills (handling multiple projects and deadlines) Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of the full web development life-cycle Experience providing UX feedback and influencing design/experience decisions Familiarity with web-adjacent infrastructure and tracking/issue Track record of impactful open source contributions Passionate about ongoing learning and staying connected to the developer community Basic hands-on with GraphQL At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,000 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
