Legal Advisory:
Provide legal guidance to upstream, midstream, and downstream business units, excluding trading activities. Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as joint ventures, EPC contracts, supply and service agreements, and technology licensing. Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including environmental, health & safety, anti-corruption, and industry-specific standards. Project Support:
Advise on legal aspects of infrastructure projects, asset development, and operational expansions. Dispute Resolution:
Manage and support resolution of legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations. Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with operational activities and strategic initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and regulatory bodies to align legal strategies with business goals. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized institution; admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction. Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure sectors. Strong background in commercial law, project development, and regulatory compliance. Experience with EPC contracts, joint ventures, and environmental law is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. What's on Offer
