Job Description Expression of Interest - Future Opportunities (please expect longer timescales).

The Energy Transition is the fundamental shift underway in how we, as a global community, produce, distribute, and consume energy, with the overarching goal of transitioning to a lower carbon future.

Will you be part of the solution? If you are passionate about making a difference in the sector, then join Stantec's industry leading Energy team in driving the change!

As a result of recent successes and the development of new projects and clients, Stantec is looking to speak with Principal Mechanical Engineers for future opportunities in the coming months within our Energy & Resources team. These roles can be based in any of our UK offices but ideally are accessible from the Midlands or Newcastle.

Working as part of our Waste and Energy team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including conventional EfW plants, district heating, gasification projects, hydrogen schemes, and biogas production projects.

In this role, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from optioneering to detailed design and installation. You will conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations. Collaboration with clients, partners, and team members to develop designs and project solutions across a range of projects in the Energy and Resources sector is essential.

As designers in the construction, energy, and waste sectors, we take our responsibility for HSE matters seriously and promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and open scrutiny.
