Base pay range
$160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Addison Group has partnered with a Fortune 300 industry leader to find a Senior Manager, External Reporting. This high-profile role will lead the development of SEC quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all financial disclosures. You will manage a high-performing team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain effective financial controls and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial statements for regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements Oversee the coordination and execution of internal financial reporting processes, including performance analysis and historical reporting Serve as the main point of contact for internal departments regarding financial reporting, providing guidance and support Act as a key liaison between external auditors, legal teams, and other external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and compliance Analyze and interpret emerging accounting standards and regulatory changes, advising on their impact to the organization’s reporting practices Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Internal Audit, to ensure robust internal controls and a strong reporting framework Champion the implementation of best practices and continuous improvements to financial reporting processes across the organization Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent; CPA certification required 10+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a management role In-depth knowledge of accounting theory, principles, SEC and SOX compliance, and financial reporting Proven ability to analyze and document complex technical accounting issues Strong problem-solving, analytical, and risk assessment skills Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus on complex issues Proficient in using technology to improve efficiency and streamline processes Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills This position offers a
