Program Overview
About The Role
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining tests to ensure the quality and reliability of web application built on React, PostgreSQL, and AWS. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to ensure that software and systems meet the functional, performance, and reliability requirements. This role requires hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities
Implement all aspects of test automation including but not limited to functional, performance, regulatory, compliance, UI, API, load, and AI/ML-based test automation tooling. Perform application security test automation. Demonstrable knowledge of application test automation and security test automation products. Architecting, designing, and implementing full breadth of test automation capabilities into the CI/CD pipeline. Implementing of test automation capabilities as an enterprise platform Communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and building consensus. Experience with testing tools including: unit testing; load testing; browser testing; and, cloud-based (AWS) performance testing. Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements. Executes test scripts during internal system testing. Documents test issues and works with development team to validate/recreate. Provide operational testing support including performance testing support and provide recommendations for performance enhancement. Develops both manual and automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements. Leverage Atlassian tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence to track development activities, control source code, and author documentation.

A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph. Minimum of 7 years with AS/AA; Minimum of 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD; Additional 4 years of SWE experience accepted in lieu of a degree. Experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Ability to develop and maintain automated test cases using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber. Ability to analyze and interpret test results. Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve automation issues. Ability to occasionally perform manual test verification. Ability to participate in cross-disciplinary teams. Strong teamwork and communication skills for coordination with teammates in building automation frameworks.

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
