4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from Brightpath Associates LLC Job Title: Solar Module Manufacturing Plant Head Location: New York, NY Duration: Full Time Job Description: Client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Head to oversee our solar module manufacturing facility. This role requires a strategic leader with deep technical expertise in photovoltaic (PV) module production, strong operational acumen, and a track record of leading high-performance manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end operations of the solar module manufacturing plant. Drive production planning, quality assurance, and cost control to meet business goals. Implement and monitor lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Coordinate with R&D and engineering teams to integrate new processes and technologies. Manage cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain. Develop and manage budgets, KPIs, and reporting systems to improve plant performance. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred); Master’s degree is a plus. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in solar/PV module production. Proven leadership experience in managing large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setup. Strong knowledge of solar module manufacturing processes (e.g., cell tabbing, lamination, framing, EL testing). Expertise in quality management systems and production efficiency tools (e.g., Six Sigma, TPM). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Preferred Experience: Experience working in a U.S.-based solar manufacturing plant. Familiarity with automated and semi-automated production lines. Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Seniority level
