Worldwide Technology is seeking a Linux System Engineer as part of WWTs Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will support a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWTs preferred partners. DESCRIPTION: The Infrastructure Technology System Analyst in a High Frequency Trading environment is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and migrating platforms configured for High Frequency Markets and Trading applications. The role involves collaborating with global partners to improve technology infrastructure performance, enhance reliability, and optimize capacity, aiming to build a secure, stable, and efficient operating environment for business growth. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support platforms within the technical domain by applying infrastructure concepts and principles. Understand how different areas integrate within the infrastructure to support operations. Build, configure, and tune servers according to application needs. Review requirements, define hardware needs, and update processes accordingly. Coordinate with teams to resolve issues and ensure timely project delivery. Conduct Root Cause Analysis after service restoration. Design testing strategies, automate repetitive tasks, and develop complex processes and reports. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Be willing to work after hours, on weekends, or be on-call as needed. Research related to projects and assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance and safeguarding assets. Handle escalations and resolve production issues, reporting on status to management. Improve processes, backup, recovery plans, and standard methodologies. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT and PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate effectively with virtual and remote teams, presenting technical findings clearly. Act as a liaison among various CTI businesses, providing guidance and support. Mentor and train junior team members, contributing to their development. Engage in self-development through planned growth activities. CORE COMPETENCIES: Technical Knowledge:

Support for Disaster Recovery, Data Center migration, and documentation. Manage Veritas volume manager, VCS clusters, firmware deployment, storage, and backup technologies. Knowledge of Chef, Ansible, automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash). Experience with RHEL, Windows OS, OpenShift, Active Directory, VMware, and network troubleshooting. Seniority level
