About the Role The Product Manager for Control and Automation will manage the lifecycle of pool automation products, driving strategy, user experience, and product development. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and market development to ensure the success of pool automation systems. Reporting to the Director of Product Management for Connected Products, the manager will focus on innovation and growth within the pool industry. Key Responsibilities Conduct user research and usability testing to define product requirements, roadmaps, and features. Own the product strategy for pool automation, considering company objectives and market demands. Develop and maintain a 5-year product roadmap, aligning with business plans and market opportunities. Collaborate with engineering on technology evolution and autonomous solutions for pool systems. Monitor competitor activity and market changes to identify new product opportunities. Serve as the "Voice of the Customer" across all departments. Lead product line marketing efforts and report on business performance metrics. Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Own product forecasting, ensuring accuracy and market segmentation analysis. Champion new product development, managing cross-functional teams to deliver successful product launches. Work with marketing to develop annual plans, budgets, and collateral for trade shows and promotions. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in technical product management or engineering. Experience in UI/UX design and new product development. Strong cross-functional leadership and business management skills. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and digital marketing. Education This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a solid understanding of market dynamics.
